Start a KIND Club at
Your School!
It’s easy! A KIND Club is simply a
group of kids who want to make a difference. KIND kids do projects to
help people, animals, or the environment.
Here’s how to get your club started.
-
Pick a time and place
to hold meetings. Most clubs meet with their teacher during school
hours. Some meet after school.
-
Start the first
meeting by naming your club. You can even create a logo—a picture or
design to go with your club name.
-
For great ideas on how
your club can make a difference for animals, join
Mission: Humane. It’s free!
We’ll send you a Mission: Humane Action Guide. The guide contains
everything kids need to speak up for animals—including ID cards for
everyone in your club. There are step-by-step instructions for
getting your club started, raising funds for animals, and projects
your club can get involved in. Then, after you complete a Mission:
Humane project, we’ll send you fun stuff as a reward!
-
Keep us in the loop.
Once you’ve done a project to help people, animals, or the earth,
tell us about it. If it’s a Mission: Humane project, send us the
Mission: Accomplished form.
For other projects,
e-mail us or write to KIND News, 67 Norwich Essex
Turnpike, East Haddam, CT 06423-1736.
You may see yourselves in a future issue of KIND News or on
KIND News Online. So get going—we can’t wait to hear from
you!
