Help the Chimps!

At Black Beauty Ranch, Lulu and Kitty
open presents sent from a friend.
What happens to chimpanzees after they have been retired from medical research or the entertainment industry or are no longer wanted as pets? The lucky ones go to live out their lives at sanctuaries like The HSUS's Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch in Texas.

Caring for chimps takes a lot of money—and supplies! You can help by holding a "Help the Chimps" collection at your school and in your community.

Below is the wish list of Midge, Lulu, and Kitty, the three chimpanzees who call the Black Beauty Ranch home.

Midge, Lulu, and Kitty's Wish List:

● Blankets and towels (used is fine)
● Plain stuffed animals (baby-safe ones, without lots of buttons or eyes that could come off)
● Kids' picture books (used is fine)
● Raisins and other dried fruit
● Raw, unsalted walnuts, almonds, pecans, and cashews

You can send items you collect to:

Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch
12526 Co. Rd. 3806
Murchison, TX 75778
