One day my mom and I spotted a turtle in the street, just walking along. We thought he was looking for water, as he was headed in that direction. We were afraid he would get hit by a car. My mom went to get a wagon and gloves. I put the gloves on, picked up the turtle, and put him in the wagon. He looked happy and healthy, so we brought him into the woods near a pond and let him free. I felt really good about keeping him safe from harm.
