Hannah
has been around horses since she was very young. So, when she learned
that horses are often slaughtered so their meat can be sold overseas,
she was upset. Hannah wanted to help. She created Help 4 Horses
bracelets and sold them at her school. She raised $250 which she donated
to The Humane Society of the United States to help stop horse slaughter.
"I think kids in my school are now aware that a lot of horses are
neglected and abused," Hannah says. "Hopefully other kids will be
inspired to help too. They could raise money for horses or other animals
they feel need help."
